Some INEOS Grenadier deliveries delayed – Jan/Feb 2024
The INEOS Grenadier has been much anticipated and many customers have been waiting a long time for their cars. In late January 2024 customers expecting delivery began to post about delay and delivery suspensions. To get the official line I’ve talked to INEOS who have supplied me with the quote below:
INEOS Automotive ANZ has identified a small number of vehicles that have required an additional software update, following their arrival in Australia. This update ensures the passenger airbag on/off function is fully operational. This has caused a short delay for some customers while those vehicles are locally updated. Affected customers will be contacted by their retailer.
So based on that, and other conversations with INEOS, it’s not a suspension of deliveries, it’s not all vehicles and it’s something which can be fixed in Australia. Not all customers are affected and those are will be contacted.
